Recycling

Late in 2003 Dreamsafe began recycling mattresses in an effort to keep an estimated 500,000 mattresses out of land fill each year. Working out of it's warehouse in 27 Levanswell Rd Moorabbin Victora, Dreamsafe have already recycled over 150,000 (updated 21/06/07) mattresses and bases and should exceed 300,000 nationally by the end of 2007. This should keep 10,500 tonnes of waste out of our landfills.

What is recycled? Wood, foam, wadding, springs and some fabrics. In the near future Dreamsafe hope to be even recycling the coconut fibers found in most old mattresses.
